From the article: "...“My constituents, and I cannot emphasize this strongly enough, are beside themselves at the consistent and recurring failure of USPS leadership to execute their basic mission in Georgia,” Sen. Ossoff wrote to the Board of Governors.

Last December, Sen. Ossoff questioned DeJoy at a Senate hearing about mail service in the Peach State. Then, in January, Ossoff demanded action and accountability from USPS for veterans' mail delays that impacted their prescriptions, medications and VA appointment notices to Georgia veterans. ..."

Audit finds USPS delayed security upgrades in Houston, putting some mail 'vulnerable to theft'

From the article: "...ABC13 is learning that the postal service installed 361 of the high-security boxes and 364 electronic arrow keys in Houston, but district management did not install them in a timely fashion. According to the audit, they also did not track the location of the high security boxes.

"Every delayed installation of these eLocks leaves carriers and older collection boxes vulnerable to theft," the audit says. ..."
